Terms and conditions
The short version
- Your plans live on your device. We only hold a backup if you sign in.
- We never sell your data and we don't connect to your bank.
- Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee. You owe what your lender says you owe.
1 · Using the app
PaymentNotify helps you record instalment plans you already have and reminds you before each payment is due. It does not lend money, take payments, or talk to your bank. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter or import.
2 · Your data
Plans, amounts, dates and notes are stored on your device. If you create an account, an encrypted copy is kept so you can restore it on a new phone. Files you import are read on the device and are not uploaded. Delete your account and the backup goes with it.
3 · Reminders
Reminders depend on your phone's notification settings, battery saver and system clock. We make every reasonable effort to deliver them on time, but a missed notification does not excuse a missed payment, and we are not liable for late fees or penalties from your lender.
4 · Budget figures
Amounts such as recommended saving and what's left after payments are estimates based on the income and plans you entered. They are not financial advice. We never convert between currencies, so totals are always shown per currency.
5 · Changes
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we'll tell you in the app before the new version applies. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the update.
6 · Getting in touch
Questions about these terms go to hello@paymentnotify.app. We answer within two working days.
